The Isa Bar and the pools sprang to life as children and adults splashed on the pool or queued up at the food tables set up by PRS.
Food and drinks were available throughout the day at very affordable prices.
The event, which started at 9 a.m. and went on until late in the afternoon, drew children from all age groups in fun-filled different games that hotel staffers prepared for them.
Lucky winners in the games went home with attractive prizes.
PRS sales representative Minako Kayagaki said the Summer Bash Campaign is one of the resort’s ways of reaching out to the local community.
“We would like to let the community know that the facilities are not for tourists only but we want everybody to feel at home at the PRS,” Kayagaki said.
Assistant Food and Beverage manager Christina Lustre, who was one of the staffers monitoring the event until closing time, said not only the children had a grand time in the water activities and games but their parents, too.
She said Summer Bash Event is a day where families can bond together for a day and enjoy fun, food and excitement.
Saturday’s event was the first Summer Bash Event with the hotel’s new poolside look and guests had the chance to use and enjoy the whole huge area.
During last year’s Summer Bash, a portion of the poolside was fenced off while undergoing renovation but it did not deter families from coming over to enjoy the event.
Guests also got a chance to try water sports activities like ocean kayaking, sea cycling and riding on a pedal boat.
Kayagaki said that they will be offering the community and their guests with more enjoyable activities in the future.
