PDI director Gordon Marciano told the Variety that each of the $500 checks were handed last week to Northern Marianas College, the Humanities Council, Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School, Mount Carmel School, San Antonio Elementary School, Rota High School, Sister Remedios, Marianas High School, Kagman High School, and San Vicente Elementary School.
Marciano said PDI has been giving ETC donations to 10 institutions each year for the past several years.
“We to do it on a rotating basis so each school and organization will get a donation,” he added.
Marciano said PDI is looking forward to presenting another batch of ETC checks to other educational institutions in 2011.
“I would also like to extend our appreciation for everyone for their continued support in the tourism industry,” Marciano said.
PDI’s goal is to offer quality service and warm hospitality to visitors of the CNMI, he added.
