The attendance of several Filipinos in the livelihood modules offered in September encouraged the consulate to offer the second batch of modules for showing.
The VCDs, entitled “Gabay sa Negosyo,” or “Guide to Business,” were obtained from the Technology Resource Center, and they aim to equip Filipinos with information on various livelihood and small business opportunities in the Philippines.
The livelihood modules that will be shown in October are as follows:
• Business Crafts I – Oct. 4 to 8
• Business Crafts II – Oct. 12 to 15
• Agri-Business I – Oct. 18 to 22
• Agri-Business II – Oct. 25 to 29
The video presentations will follow the same format that was used this September. The VCDs shall be shown during office hours (from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) in Room 502, Philippine Consulate General, 5th floor, Marianas Business Plaza, Susupe Saipan.
To provide an atmosphere conducive to learning, only 12 Filipinos will be allowed for each showing. For more details and seat reservations, interested Filipinos are requested to call the consulate at 234-1848/234-1850/234-1851 and ask for Hazel Mendoza. Those who do not have reserved seats may be allowed to attend if there are vacant slots. Participants are requested to bring their own writing materials for their notes.
