The first interruption will start at 5:30 a.m. and end at 8:30 a.m. and will affect the Feeder 1 and Feeder 3 circuits. This interruption will allow the line crew to perform needed general maintenance and repairs on 12 double circuit primary power poles on Chalan Pale Arnold Road. In addition, the crew will make modifications to the Feeder 3 circuit in anticipation of additional maintenance to be scheduled later. This modification will reduce the number of customers affected in the future.
The second interruption is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will allow Kimco Enterprises Inc. to relocate two primary power poles on Isa Drive as part of the ongoing DPW Cross Island Road Expansion Project (Phase-2).
Affected Areas: 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Feeder-1: Puerto Rico (Shell Gas Station) to China Town (Commonwealth Drive), Navy Hill, Chalan Galaide, Portions of Garapan, Upper/Lower MIHA Housing and portions of China Town.
Feeder-3: (Second Partial): Portions of China Town and portions of Gualo Rai
Affected Areas: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Kiya-1 (Second Partial): Former Adventure Store (Isa Drive) to the Botanical Garden.
CUC apologizes for any inconvenience these scheduled power interruptions may impose on the community and its customers. CUC is currently training its power crew to eventually work on live wire to minimize future power interruptions.
