Digital Motions production manager Edwin Sta. Theresa yesterday said that tickets are still available for the show of veteran entertainment writer/reporter Ogie Diaz and stand-up comedian Vice Ganda in the Taga Hall of the World Resort Saipan on Sept. 19.
Sta. Theresa said Guam is getting several shows each year from Philippine artists but none, except for a few singers, ever thought of visiting Saipan.
“With the way things are going on here, we need a diversion to be entertained and to laugh because this is what the whole show dubbed as ‘Kambal sa Tawa’ [Twins in Laughter] is all about,” Sta. Theresa said.
He said this is the first time that Digital Motion is hosting a show.
“If we get the support of the community and the show succeeds, the community can expect more shows in the future and we can invite more artists in the future,” Sta. Theresa said.
He added that they came up with the idea of hosting a comedy show to give not only the Filipinos but the whole community a chance to unwind from the daily routine of life.
Sta. Theresa said the show is conceptualized by Reynaldo Gabriel who is popularly known here as “Hapi Go Lucky.”
“We started planning for the show about a couple of months ago, and we are asking for the support of the community,” Gabriel said.
Gabriel, who also airs a monthly lifestyle show about the CNMI on ABC-7, said this is the chance of the people to experience a “night of fun and laughter.”
Digital Motion is the show producer who specializes in TV production, documentary, event coverage, promotional videos and advertisement videos.
Tickets are $15 for the general admission and $30 for VIP admission and are available at the Digital Motions office at the 3rd Floor of the Marianas Business Plaza and at Shirley’s in Susupe.
