PSS has 5 new principals

“These are young, seasoned educators and experienced leaders that have served in different capacities within PSS and are ready to bring their expertise to these five schools,” Sablan said in an interview.

Craig Garrison will be the new principal for Marianas High School, the largest and the oldest public high school in the commonwealth. Garrison previously served as principal of Saipan Southern High School and he succeeds at MHS Karen Borja, who is on extended medical leave.

Jesse Tudela was promoted as principal of Saipan Southern High School. Tudela was the school’s vice principal.

Dionne Santos is the new principal for Tinian Elementary School, replacing Maria Rios who retired last June. Santos has been serving as acting principal since June.

Martin Dalsaso is the new principal for San Antonio Elementary School, replacing Katrina Lizama who moves to the PSS Office of the Associate Commissioner for Instructional Services.

Dalsaso previously served as vice principal for Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School.

Naomi Nishimura is the new principal for William S. Reyes Elementary School. She takes over the position previously held by Lynette Villagomez who is now the new program director of the PSS Territorial and Freely Associated States Education Grant, commonly known as the federal Title I Reading First Grant.

Nishimura is the school’s former vice principal.
