George Cruz, administrator of Marianas Health Services, told the Saipan Rotary Club that he is optimistic they can reach their goal.
“We are close to reaching our goal of collecting 1,000 toys. We have already received more toys and cash donations from the community, but we will be conducting a final toy drive before December 18,” he said.
Cruz said as much as possible, toys for donation should be non-violent toys.
“It is very important to show our kids that no matter how hard the times are, there is always hope for the community as we strive to continue the tradition and culture of giving cheer to the children,” Cruz said.
