The purpose of this walkathon was to raise funds to help spread autism awareness in the CNMI.
As a result, the NHS Alliance used these funds last June to order a one-year subscription of Autism Asperger’s Digest Magazine for the Commonwealth Health Center, the CNMI WIC Program, the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, the Children’s Development Assistance Center, the Pacific Medical Center, the Marianas Medical Center, the Saipan Health Clinic, the Medical Associates in the Pacific, the Seventh-day Adventist Clinic, Dr. Hocog’s Clinic and Take Care Health Clinic. The remaining funds will go to the Autism Society.
