Yana said they are expecting more participants as registration is still open not only for the lantern making competition, but also for the Nativity and choir singing contests.
Valuable prizes await the winners in the three categories, and there are also fun and games for the children, she said.
This year’s Paskong Pinoy will be held outside the Mt. Carmel Cathedral on Saturday, Dec. 19, and everyone is invited, she added.
The winning entries for the Nativity and lantern contest will be displayed at the cathedral.
“This will allow everyone to admire and appreciate them,” Yana said.
In the choir singing contest, Gloria Dei, Genesis and other singing groups from different parishes are participating, she added.
“Let us all celebrate Christmas together in a festive atmosphere filled with love, Christmas melodies, family togetherness and God’s messages of hope, peace and joy for everyone. Invite your family, friends and neighbors and make this Christmas truly memorable,” she said.
To join the contests, call Olive at 234-6529, Pol at 287-4501, Minda at 989-0604, or Annamae at 483-5237.
