DPS Commissioner Santiago Tudela and Deputy Commissioner/CNMI Range Master Ambrosio Ogumoro have now ordered the DPS Joint Drug Enforcement Task Force to take action against all unregistered and non-compliant gun-owners.
Any person who is in possession of illegal firearms and/or ammunition after this notice will be dealt with according to the law.
Individuals who wish to relinquish ownership of their firearms must voluntarily and peacefully surrender their firearms and/or ammunition to DPS for proper disposal.
