Fund Administrator Mark Aguon yesterday said four of the six, including current consultant Merrill Lynch, made it to the final interview.
Aguon said they interviewed Morgan Stanley and Buck Consultants last month.
The board will have to choose among the final four RFP respondents, including Merill Lynch, whose contract was renewed in 2006 and 2008.
Tomorrow’s special meeting will also be Aguon’s last as Fund administrator. Friday will be his last day working for the agency.
His resignation takes effect on July 30.
When asked about his plan, Aguon said, “Nothing is written in stone.”
