Judge Perry B. Inos imposed a $10,000 bail order on Palacios for this latest case and remanded him to Corrections custody after the probable cause hearing last Friday morning.
Prior to this latest incident, Palacios was about to leave Corrections facility after the court allowed his release, and was retrieving his personal belongings, when he asked for his mobile phone. An argument ensued that led to Palacios assaulting the Corrections officer.
In his other case, Palacios was charged with three counts of assault and disturbing the peace, violating an order of protection, and stalking in the first and second degree.
Police said the incidents occurred at the victim’s residence in Dandan, the victim’s place of employment, and “at random times during the daily life of the victim,” who is Palacios’ former girlfriend.
