Saipan Rotary Club president Pete Igitol inducted the club’s newest member, Ivan Ilmov, during the club’s regular meeting yesterday at the Hyatt.
Ilmov, a Rotary Club member from Russia, has been regularly attending local club meetings for the past months.
Rotarian Richard Cody recommended Ilmov’s membership to the Rotary Club of Saipan.
Ilmov and his wife Tatiana Ilmova opened Island Ceramics, Saipan’s newest outlet for environmentally friendly, affordable and top quality bathroom fixtures, on Middle Road last year.
“I am happy to become a full- pledged member of the Rotary Club of Saipan,” Ilmov said.
As a Rotarian, he will be participating in more activities and events that the club will be holding for the benefit of the community.
Established in 1968, the Saipan Rotary Club has over 40 members. It has recruited over 10 new members over the past year.
