(Kagman Agricultural Farms and Producers Association Inc.) — On Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, and every Saturday thereafter, the Sabalu Farmers Market will be open at the Garapan Fishing Base from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The official ceremony for the relaunching of the infamous farmers market will begin at 8 a.m. Fresh farm produce and goods will be sold including value added goods. There are 21 booths/lots available and 13 local farmers have already secured their lots to sell their farm fresh goods. Only eight lots left for grabs.
If you are interested to sell your farm produce or value-added products, contact market managers Joe Takai at (670) 284-0219 or Steve Duenas at (670) 989-3210 to secure your booth/lot site.
There is also a booth/lot reserved for farmers from Rota and Tinian who are members of KAFPA to sell their produce and also a lot reserved for the farmers association’s partners such as NMC-CREES, Public Health, DOA, NRCS and JKPL to provide community information every Saturday.
