Club president Anna Cabael said 13 members of the club participated in the activity, which included water blasting the hallway and cleaning the schoolyard.
The club likewise repainted and cleaned the isolation room, which will be used as a “waiting room” for any person on campus with possible signs of Covid-19 while the school seeks assistance from the Governor’s Covid-19 Task Force.

Club vice president Bhiya Canadalla said they want to help the school prepare for the new school year, adding that the activity was one of their various community projects.
“We are very grateful to our club president and members who participated in this event,” she said.
The Lions Club motto, she added, is “We Serve,” as she encourages anyone who has the passion to serve the community to join any of the Lions Clubs on island.
In an interview, Tanapag Middle School principal Hilda Rios said she is very grateful to Saipan Alliance Lions Club for helping the school administration prepare their campus for the new school year.
