On Sunday, club president Araceli L. Lizama said they repainted the pavilion, repaired the barbecue grill, cleaned the surroundings and planted coconut trees in the area.
“We will continue our work next Sunday,” Lizama said, adding that the club is also planning to install bins for cigarette butts.
During their cleanup, she said, they picked up hundreds of cigarette butts.

She thanked these club officers and members who participated in the activity: Ruth Reyes, Hector Sevilla, Maria Javier, Michael Darrell Guirey, Juanito Sarmiento, Mario Buela, Alfredo Agsaulio, Ricardo Ortiz, Juvy Ortiz, Rosemarie Robediso, Carmen Japitana, Rosalinda Guevarra, Estrella Lontoc, and Jasminda Guiao.
“Our club members also contributed money for this project,” Lizama said, as she thanked all the donors for their generosity.
