Elected unanimously during the club’s regular meeting at Hyatt’s Giovanni’s on Tuesday were Pete Shilling, president; Laila Y. Boyer, vice president; Richard Cody, secretary; Yosh Gabaldon, treasurer; Jay Santos, club service director; Curtis Dancoe, community service director; Kelly Butcher, vocational service director; Pete Igitol, international service director; Glen Perez, foundation service director; Jeff Boyer, new generation service director; and Wayne Gillespie, sergeant-at-arms emeritus.
The Rotary Club of Saipan has been actively involved in various community and fundraising projects for over 40 years. Among the club’s annual events are Las Vegas Night and the Parade of Books.
For this Christmas, the Rotarians will donate toys that they will turn over to the CNMI Salvation Army for distribution to children from low-income families.
The Rotarians will hold their annual Christmas party on Dec. 20 at the Hyatt Regency with the theme “Christmas by the Sea.”
