Santos’ House Local Bill 17-58 will appropriate $2,500 for the executive director’s salary; $1,000 for professional services; $2,000 for communications; $300 for repairs; and $200 for ground maintenance.
The Rota gaming’s executive director is Alfredo Antolin.
Earlier this year, acting Gov. Eloy S. Inos signed Santo’s H.L.B. 17-37 into Rota Local Law 17-11 appropriating $40,000 for the Rota Gaming Commission which currently oversees a struggling casino that has been closed since March.
$13,000 of this money went to the commission’s legal counsel; $14,000 to the inspector; $8,000 to office furniture and equipment; $2,000 for fuel and lubrication; and $3,000 for communications.
The commission’s chairwoman, who is Laura Manglona, will be the expenditure authority.
