Scheduled water service interruption for San Antonio on June 5

(Commonwealth Utilities Corporation) — There will be a scheduled water service interruption on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Areas Affected: San Antonio (Chalan Tun Thomas P. Sablan and Guili St. Intersection)

Purpose: The interruption is necessary to facilitate the work of Tropex Garden, CUC’s contractor for the San Antonio waterline replacement project. This is to connect the new 8-inch water line to the existing 12-inch main line. The work is necessary to transition the water system from the old to the newly installed PVC waterline.

The San Antonio waterline replacement project is funded by the US Environmental Protection Agency. This project is designed to provide beneficial water services for customers in San Antonio village. The contractor has reconnected the existing customers to the newly installed PVC waterline.

Customers in the area will experience low to no water pressure between the specified hours.  Allow one to two hours for the water lines to pressurize fully.
