(Commonwealth Utilities Corporation) — There will be scheduled water service interruptions on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, and Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025.
Wednesday, Aug. 6
Water service interruption time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Areas affected: China Town (Freedom Dr.)
Purpose: To allow CUC water operators to repair a 2-inch water distribution line.
Thursday, Aug. 7
Water service interruption time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Areas affected: San Vicente Tank Service Area
Purpose: To allow CUC water operators to repair a high-density polyethylene pipe
Motorists are advised to reduce speeds and exercise caution while driving in the area or taking alternative routes. Customers in the area will experience low to no water pressure between the specified hours. Allow one to two hours for the water lines to pressurize fully.
