Senate panel to conduct public hearing for NMHC board nominee

She has over three decades of experience in banking operation and management, inclusive of commercial, real estate mortgage, and consumer lending.

She also has over a decade of experience in government finance environment, including budgeting, accounting, investment, and treasury.

Tomokane began working for the Bank of America-Saipan branch in 1973 before moving to the Bank of Guam-Saipan branch in 1980.

She also worked for the Commonwealth Bank in 1983.

The following year, she served as an executive and administrative assistant at the CNMI Department of Finance before becoming the CNMI treasurer.

In 1994, she returned to the Bank of Guam, serving as assistant vice president and branch operation manager, and was promoted to president and branch manager the following year.

She became the bank’s vice president and CNMI regional manager in 2003.

The public is welcome to attend the public hearing, today, Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m. in the Senate chamber to observe and/or to provide testimony.
