Two of GTA’s top officials made a short visit on Saipan to discuss with lawmakers the viability of doing business here.
Speaker Eli D. Cabrera, R-Saipan, told Variety that GTA executive vice president Daniel J. Tydingco and VP on marketing and regulatory Eric Votaw met with him.
Cabrera said GTA is ready to submit an investment application to the Commonwealth Public Utilities Commission.
The two GTA executives, Cabrera added, expressed their desire to be part of the CNMI community.
Many of GTA’s big corporate clients on Guam have branches here on Saipan, he said.
GTA’s expansion will create more jobs for locals and improve the quality of services here, Cabrera added.
Now under the umbrella of TeleGuam Holdings LLC., GTA TeleGuam has been serving the territory for over 40 years and has invested $50 million over the last five years on network infrastructure and back office systems.
