On Friday, 24 students from Full Gospel Bupyeong Church with their Pastor Kim Sungil presented a one-hour dance and comedy performance at the Aging Center.
The group arrived on Aug. 23 and left Saipan last Saturday.
Hyun Joung, 13, a member of the local church on Saipan said he enjoyed the company of the church members from Korea as they conducted a house-to-house visit in sharing the Gospel.
“It’s nice to share God’s message with the people,” he said.
Ahn Iekhyun of the Mission Aviation Organization and pastor of the local church in San Antonio said the students were here on a “missionary trip.”
He said the local church has been facilitating the visit of student missionaries from Korea to further the evangelism program.
Teresita Sorroza, Saipan Senior Citizens Advisory Council president, said she was impressed by the performance of the students.
“The manamko’ were really entertained with their comedy acts,” she said.
Aging Center program coordinator Walter Manglona also expressed his appreciation for the visiting student missionaries.
