Students complete English language development course

The 10 individuals of the program are international staff members on internships with the Saipan World Resort.

In the course, the participants learned the fundamentals of the English language, including the grammatical concepts necessary for interactive skills development. Throughout the course, students practiced these concepts through various conversation and written exercises.

The 10 interns completed the course in order to be more well-rounded hospitality employees. Such training would ensure that these interns are able to effectively serve English-speaking hotel customers.

The Community Development Institute provides a range of specialized academic courses, non-traditional courses, customized training such as “customer service” and “computer literacy” courses, outreach and extended program services, personal enrichment, and community-based learning that are accessible and affordable to the general public.
