TTT is made up of students from Da’ok Academy, Saipan Southern High School, Marianas High School and Kagman High School.
With volunteers from the Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance or MINA, the TTT members picked up litter in the beach area from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, collecting a total of 108 lbs. of trash.
The TTT members said they are happy to be involved in community projects and working with various community organizations such as MINA.

At Laulau Beach, “some of the debris were left by beachgoers, while some may have been brought to shore from the ocean,” Saipan Fishermen’s Association president Gene Weaver said in the SFA newsletter. It was the SFA that helped organize TTT.
“Continuous efforts need to continue to beautify and maintain our natural resources,” Weaver said as he praised MINA for leading the way “to literally greener pastures.”
