A colorful lion dance presentation followed the ribbon cutting ceremony which kicked off the event, followed by non-stop live entertainment.
“We are inviting the whole community to come and join in the culinary festivities which will run for the entire month as part of CNMI’s celebration of Tourism Month,” Marianas Visitors Authority Managing Director Perry Tenorio said.
Sumptuous specialties prepared by over 15 hotels and restaurants at very affordable prices were made available to the spectators from the participating hotel and restaurant outlets with prices ranging from one token and up.

Aqua Resort Club Saipan
Choice of meal combinations of beef tinaktak, flat bread pockets with beef “tinaktak” and Tinian hot peppers and Conchita pork pibil with rice became a hit with the throng. Each combo costs 5 tokens. For another token, visitors got fruit and marshmallow skewers dipped in chocolate fountain.
Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan
A combo menu of five choices of BBQ short ribs, BBQ chicken, BBQ spareribs, BBQ squid, sweet and sour pork, corn cob and fried rice for five tokens
Hafadai Beach Hotel
Any choice of chicken yakitori, BBQ pork yakitori, BBQ short rib, corn, oden, Japanese pork curry, custard pudding, cream puff, and BBQ squid Japanese style which will be available on May 9. You may also opt for a five-token combo of two pieces shrimp, vegetable and fish on top of rice with Japanese sauce, or a barbeque set.
Hyatt Regency Saipan
Hyatt offers its mouth-watering choices of chicken or beef shawarma, shrimp gambas, Marianas fotumaki, Bruschetta and desserts, all from 4 to 6 tokens.
Pacific Islands Club Saipan
A choice of candied pineapple BBQ pork ribs, cheese steak sandwich, chicken quesadillas, homemade cookies, made to order banana foster with vanilla ice cream, or a combination of BBQ pork ribs, cheese steak sandwich and chicken quesadillas for 12 tokens.

Choice of Chinese delicacies like sesame balls, fried spring rolls, fried gyoza, siu mie, fried rice, fried noodle, beef broccoli and a lot more.
