Rabby Syed, president of the taxi group, said they offer the free rides “because we also want 100 percent participation of voters in this election.”
But he said their group is not affiliated with any political party and they are not supporting any candidate in the congressional delegate race.
The group, he said, will deploy two taxi units that will pick up passengers.
If they will get many requests, the group will use more taxi units, he added.
The group has 16 members on Saipan.
They will start the operation from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.
The Saipan City Taxi Association also provided free rides in the elections last year.
