Ear, nose and throat specialists will be here from Dec. 7 to 11 to conduct clinic at the hospital and provide medical services including surgeries.
The Department of Health Service has requested that patients with those kind of problems attend the prescreening at the state hospital and at other sites prior to the arrival of the group on island so they can be seen by the specialists when they are here.
The department said this is very important as some conditions require 3-4 weeks of antibiotic treatment before the team arrives to provide appropriate surgery.
Any patient who miss the pretreatment process will not be provided service by the Tripler Army medical specialists.
