It is the fifth rape case so far this year.
Department of Public Safety spokesman PO2 Eric David said they will release more information as soon as he receives a report from the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
David would not confirm if an arrest had been made.
Variety was told that the victim, who is in 10th grade, was hit by a blunt object, knocking her unconscious.
She is recuperating at the Commonwealth Health Center, Variety learned.
Some residents of Kagman told this reporter that the incident seemed to be somewhat related to the rape that happened last month in Chalan Kanoa where the 15-year-old victim was also knocked unconscious before she was raped.
That case remains unsolved.
