Tinian celebrates National Library Week

Daily activities included Read-A-Loud for children, arts & crafts, energizers, mini-siestas, book and I.D. cards amnesty program.

Prizes were given to children who did their best in journal writing, Caldecott and Newberry books treasure hunt game, tongue twisters, and Guess-How-Many-Books-You-Need-to-Read-Before-You-Enter-College Game.

Appreciation and gratitude were extended to the following individuals who gave their unconditional support:  the mayor’s wife Doris Dela Cruz, Allen Perez of the mayor’s office, AmeriCorps coordinator Brenda Safer, Arley Long, Councilman Joseph SN. Cruz, Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino, Long Feng Corporation, U-Save, J&J Mart, 3K Mart, Family Market (Kim’s), JC Café & Restaurant and a special thank you to Joeten-Kiyu Public Library headed by Director John Oliver Gonzales for providing  promotional t-shirts, bags, school supplies, arts and crafts material, and posters for the Tinian library.
