Fr. Anthony O. Aguason, who succeeded Fr. Rey Rosal in October, said many parishioners participate or volunteer in church activities and events.
To help strengthen their faith, Aguason said the parish has adopted a program that focuses on marriage and family, evangelism and faith formation, youth and vocation, social justice and outreach, and liturgy.
Aguason said the parish is also raising funds to rebuild the church that was destroyed by Super Typhoon Yutu in Oct. 2018.
The parish, he added, is very thankful to community members and businesses that are helping to rebuild the church.
“I am especially thankful to the Friends of San Jose for their support,” he said.
Before he was named pastor of Tinian, Aguason was the administrator of the San Antonio Church on Saipan.
