A TOURIST was hurt after an unidentified man attacked and robbed her while she was walking in Susupe on Thursday night.
Emergency medical technicians were dispatched to the scene to assist the victim, Miho Arai, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Pete C. Muna on Friday. Muna said the suspect was described as 5’7″ to 5’8″ tall, with short black hair, and was wearing black shorts, black T-shirt and slippers.
Muna said the robber got Arai’s brown leather purse which contained napkin tissues.
Arai and a friend were walking in front of Diamond Hotel when the suspect came from behind and punched the victim on the forehead twice.
The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and ran toward Susupe. The victim chased the suspect, but failed to catch him.
