The mayor said he was invited to attend the 77th Winter Meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, which will be held at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. from Jan. 17 to 19.
Tudela will participate in the discussions on urban economic policy which include criminal and social justice, energy, jobs ans workforce.
The first day of meeting will tackle internal affairs, tourism, arts, parks, entertainment and sports.
Excellence in public/private partnership awards will be presented during the second day.
The conference will also discuss community development and housing, children, health and human services, environment, transportation and communications.
Tudela said all plenary sessions, committee meetings, task force meetings and social events are open to all mayors and other officially registered attendees.
