Foreign students (last names A through L) — Monday at the Commerce Department
Foreign students (last names M through Z) — Tuesday at the Commerce Department
Permits being issued this week at Labor — Monday through Friday on the first floor distribution center, Labor building:
• Workers who have new pending labor cases or appeals to the Secretary of Labor
• Workers who have labor cases pending in the Commonwealth Superior Court
• Workers who have pending requests for transfer extensions
• Workers who are out-of status at Labor but not on any overstayer list
Extra days for those who have not yet come in to pick up their permits at Labor: Monday through Friday, first floor at Labor distribution center, Labor building
• holders of currently valid 240K (foreign worker) permits
• workers whose 240K (foreign worker) permits are in process (pending applications, deficiencies, denials)
• immediate relatives who hold current permits
• ministers and missionaries
Problem-solving days for those who came in but the permit was not ready or whose name was not on a list where it should have appeared: Thursday and Friday, second floor conference room, Labor building
Extra days for immediate relatives who DO NOT hold current valid permits: Monday through Wednesday at the Hearing Office, second floor, Labor building
Persons with pending collection matters and no other umbrella permit (registered bond claims, unpaid wage claims): Thursday and Friday, Hearing Office, second floor, Labor building
Extra days for investors, business permit holders, retirees, and students : Monday (Nov. 23), Tuesday (Nov. 24) at the Commerce Department
