One of the two interlocutors, Robin Nair, confirmed to the Fiji Times that a final report had been prepared and would be sent to interim Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama
“A joint technical team is arriving in the next week from New York and London,” he said.
“They have asked to meet (Sitiveni) Halapua and myself but we do not know if we will be able to meet them as we have not been invited back,” he added.
“Our work related to the political leaders meeting convened by the prime minister to prepare for the PPDF by agreeing on the agenda for the PPDF and the terms of reference for the PPDF,” he said.
Nair said they had completed the report and once Bainimarama accepted it they would send it to the political parties before it is made public.
