US military to conduct training on Tinian and Saipan

(CNMI Homeland Security & Emergency Management) — CNMI Emergency Operations Center State Warning Point, in conjunction with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas Guam, would like to inform the general public that the military will conduct training on Tinian and Saipan.

The dates and times are as follows:

April 25 to May 5, 2024, from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Location:

Saipan Mt. Tapochau, Tinian Exclusive Military Use Area, Tinian North Field, Tinian West Field, Tinian Chulu Beach, Tinian Japanese Air Administration Building, Tinian Japanese Air Operation Building, Tinian Japanese Communication Center, Tinian San Jose Port and Open Ocean.

Training will take place on and in the vicinity of Saipan and Tinian.

Marine vessels are advised to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories and remain clear of the areas for the duration of the events.

Gov, Arnold I. Palacios said residents in the areas surrounding the training exercises should not be alarmed if they hear or see increased training activity.
