Vanuatu police relocate families following murder

Following the murder two houses were burnt down and police say relatives of the dead man are being harassed.

Vanuatu’s Deputy Police Commissioner, Arthur Caulton said five people have been arrested in relation to the murder.

He’s told Radio Australia’s Pacific Beat program calm has finally been restored to Santo.

“Things have come back to normal, the town is quiet, shops are open and people are going about their normal activities,” he said.
