WIA automates Rota office

This automation allows the Rota WIA personnel to remotely access, provide registrant/participant services while entering real time information to WIA’s Pacific workforce client tracking server located on Saipan as well.

This is a huge accomplishment for the CNMI as a grantee of WIA funds where registrant/participant services can be provided, data retrieved and entered on a real time basis. WIA’s next automation project is for its Tinian office.

For many years, client tracking information for Rota was entered by the Saipan WIA office but this no longer will be the case since WIA accomplished automation of its client tracking system for Rota office in March 2011.

This could not have been achieved without the technical assistance through strong collaboration and partnership with the Guam Department of Labor and strongly supported by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration, San Francisco Region 6 Office.
