The participants were the sixth group from WIA to be awarded certificates of competence from CDI.
These courses included “How to Use Word Processing Applications,” “Creating Digital Presentations,” “Time Management,” “Communication in the Workplace,” “Work Etiquette Training,” and other course programs which are designed to improve individual knowledge and specific skills.
Such courses are also geared around actual workforce needs and experiences based on course surveys, community needs assessments, and interviews with employers.
