JOLANIE Cepeda Tenorio, 37, has pled guilty to two assault charges in Criminal Case 24-0101 and to robbery and assault and battery charges in Criminal Case 24-0114 on June 26, 2025.
Superior Court Judge Joseph N. Camacho accepted Tenorio’s guilty plea and found that her decision was made freely, voluntarily, and intelligently.
In CR 24-0101, Judge Camacho sentenced Tenorio to six months in prison, all suspended.
In CR 24-0114, the judge sentenced her to 10 years in prison, with all but six months suspended.
Tenorio was also given credit for 153 days of time served, meaning she will be released on July 23, 2025.
Following her release, she will be placed on supervised probation for two years.
As part of her sentence, Tenorio was ordered to attend the HOPE program, pay $245 in restitution, a $100 court fine, and complete 100 hours of community service before the end of her probationary period.
Following her guilty plea, the court vacated the bench trial scheduled for July 2.
Tenorio was represented by court-appointed attorney Michael Dotts, while Assistant Attorney General Daniel Johnson represented the government.
According to court documents, in CR 24-0101, on April 4, 2024, Tenorio “unlawfully offered or attempted, with force or violence, to strike, beat, or wound” the victim — specifically, she threatened the victim with a knife.
In CR 24-0114, police said Tenorio grabbed the purse of a store owner and bit both of the victim’s hands as she tried to retrieve her purse.
