The committee said the responsibility for transparency in government is a joint responsibility, adding that public awareness is very important.
While the department is applauded for its work, the committee also challenged the director and his staff to continue to improve their job.
“You have done much and much remains to be undertaken,” the committee added.
The letter at the same time extended warm holiday wishes to the director and his staff.
