Man and woman lost computer and Ipod to burglars

Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that the man called police on Sunday night at 8:05 p.m. and reported a burglary incident at the parking lot of Ngerchemai near the Emmaus church.

The victim said that his vehicle was parked at the parking lot when the suspect broke into his car and stole his laptop with an estimated value $2,000.Chief Aguon said that the woman reported that her residence in Ngerchemai was burglarized on Friday morning.The victim reported the incident at 6 a.m. on Friday.The victim said someone broke into her house and stole her Ipod and bankcards.Also on Friday at 8:57 a.m. another residence in Ngerchemai was reportedly burglarized.Chief Aguon said the burglar stole a cooking pot that contained some foods.Aguon added that on Sunday night, at 9 p.m. a Koror State ranger reported that one of their Kayaks was stolen from Long Island.The amount of the green Kayak that was stolen was $200,000.Aguon said due to the rise of the burglary incidents, they are now trying to address the problem by strengthening the patrol operation including the foot patrol.The Patrol Division has a total of 36 patrol officers and six reserve officers.Aguon is also calling the public to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 4888477 for any information regarding the said crimes that would lead to the arrest of the suspects.Aguon said no caller ID is being used and a reward of up to $1,000 is given to any information leading to the arrest.
