THE Department of Public Safety arrested Stephen E. Albright on Monday, March 28 after learning that he had violated the sex offender registry requirements.
DPS said an arrest warrant was signed and issued by Superior Court Associate Judge Teresa Kim-Tenorio with bail set at $10,000.
Albright was charged with failing to update offender registration information and verification/appearance requirements.
At about 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Albright was arrested in Lower Base and was transported to the Department of Corrections where he was booked and detained.
Albright was previously convicted of sexual abuse of a minor in the third degree.
No other information about the defendant was available as of press time Monday.
