Acting Bureau of Public Safety Patrol Division Chief Peter Napoleon said that the suspect, a Palauan male was driving his vehicle and was following another vehicle driven by a Bangladeshi national.Napoleon said that while the suspect’s vehicle was approaching the Ngermid road, he run off the road and hit the Bangladeshi’s car.The Bangladeshi’s car sustained minor damage and both of the suspect and the Bangladeshi national sustained minor injuries.Police responded to the scene and initial investigation disclosed that the suspect was under the influence of alcohol when the accident happened.The suspect was charged with DUI and reckless driving.
