Cosby Kelmal entered a not guilty plea when he appeared for arraignment on October 9 with Public Defender Jason Shaw while Assistant Attorney General Tony DeRuiz appeared on behalf of the government.
Kelmal’s status conference is set for November 27 at 9:45 am in Melekeok.
Kelmal was charged for burglarizing a woman’s residence on August 12 and stole her television set.
The document filed in court stated that the victim filed a complaint at the Bureau of Public Safety and reported that her residence in Ngerchemai was burglarized.
The document stated that Kelmal gain entry of the house through the back door and proceeded to the living room area and took the 13 inches RCA brand television set.
The document further stated that Kelmal returned the TV set upon learning that the victim filed a complaint at the BPS.
