Felisto Markub also known as Vito was charged with kidnapping, false arrest and assault on August 3.
Markub was summoned to appear in court for arraignment on September 11 at 10 am in Melekeok.Markub was charged for keeping the minor against her will on April 25.A court document stated that the victim just came from a mass and was on her way home on April 25 at 7 pm when the defendant approached him.The victim was walking in front of Dragon Tei restaurant when Markub who was driving a gray sedan pulled up beside her and asked her to ride with him.Markub asked the victim if she could accompany him to Kwik Mart and told her to give her money to buy food.The victim refused because her mother was waiting at home but the defendant insisted and promised that it would be quick. He promised to drop her home.The victim finally agreed and got into the car but the defendant drove past Kwik Mart and parked the car to a loop in Meyuns causeway and asked the victim if the two of them could have a relationship.The victim who started to feel scared replied that she didn’t know. The defendant then suggested if they could proceed to Icebox Park.The victim refused and begged to be drop home but the defendant ignored her and drove towards icebox Park.The defendant then hugged the victim and started to kiss her.The victim begged him to stop and started crying but the defendant went on hugging her and kissing her.The defendant stopped later when he heard the victim’s loud crying. He then drove her home.The victim immediately opened the door and ran home crying.
