Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that the victim walked in to the police station on March 30 at 2:26 pm and reported that a night before he gave a ride to an unidentified man.
After dropping him off, the victim noticed that his cell phone which was placed on a dashboard was already gone.In other police reports, an unknown suspect went to the Ministry of Education building in Madelaii on Monday and threw a bottle of beer at one of the window on the first floor of the building.According to the police report, the window sustained minor damage.The incident was reported to the police at 9:20 am on March 30.A theft incident was also reported to police on Monday.A woman called at 8:20 am and reported that one of the tires of a vehicle belonging to Palau Visitors Authority was stolen and the rear window of the vehicle was shattered.An employee of Public Works also called and reported that a battery from a government heavy equipment vehicle which was parked at the Public Works office was stolen.
