Man nab for driving a vehicle without owner’s consent

Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon identified the man as Magellan Bemert.

Aguon said Bemert was arrested at 5:05 p.m. three hours after the vehicle was reported missing on Friday.The incident was reported to the police at 2:55 p.m.The police report indicated that someone took the car without the owner’s consent.On June 14, At 6:54 p.m. an underage drinking at the BHS store in Idid was also reported to the police.Police responded to the scene and arrested 19-year-old Augustine Blailes for drunk and disorderly conduct and illegal consumption of alcohol.Meanwhile two women and two men were also arrested over the weekend for disturbances and drunk driving.The arrested were identified as Ngerbuns Apsalun, 18; Jasrin Brobesong, 20; Jayson Brobesong and Reynante Pineda, 29.Apsalun and the Brobesongs were arrested for disturbing the peace at the PCC parking lot on June 13 at 4:30 a.m.Pineda on the other hand was pulled over by police for driving a vehicle without tail light on 2:10 a.m. on June 13.When police approached Pineda, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.Pineda was subjected for Field Sobriety Test and Breathalizer Test. He failed both test.
