(Press Release) — The Marianas Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations or MANGO is pleased to announce its latest free monthly community workshop scheduled for Aug. 27, 2021, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, at the MANGO Resource Center and via online on Zoom. The Managing Your Nonprofit Workshop begins with how to manage a project within the organization. The training then discusses staff management best practices including what should be included in the organization’s personnel policies and procedures or employee handbook.
Next, participants develop data management plans and policies that comprise the ownership, security, and management of data that is not often addressed through formal policies and procedures.
Lastly, basic financial management with an emphasis on budget management is also included in the training.
For those attending in person, the MANGO Resource Center is located at the Springs Plaza on Middle Road, Gualo Rai. Zoom participants will receive a link to the workshop in an email.
The first 30 minutes of the workshop will be devoted to introductions and networking among participants. Refreshments will be provided for those attending in-person.
