THE Marianas Agupa radio talk show has invited Board of Education Saipan member Andrew L. Orsini, who is seeking re-election, and his challenger Robert Harrell to a virtual forum on Oct. 15, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The show will be aired on Magic 100.3 FM. It will also be streamed via https://tunein.com/radio/KWAW-FM-1003-s43718/ and on the Marianas Agupa YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5heKROsqcSVHg5ztadbDHA as well as on the Marianas Agupa Facebook page.
The language will be either in Chamorro or English and the order to respond to a question will be based on the candidate’s number on the ballot.
Each of the candidate will be given up to three minutes for his opening statement.
They will be asked questions regarding:
1) Schools in the Commonwealth
2) Proposed policy changes
3) Administration
4) Student achievement
A question will also be asked by a reporter from a local newspaper.
Members of the public can also ask a few questions.
There is no rebuttal in the Q&A segment.
Both candidates will be given up to three minutes for their closing statement.
The forum will be moderated by Marianas Agupa host Glenn H. Manglona.
